Counselling 

I am a qualified, experienced, and professional therapist, offering confidential neuro-
affirming and trauma-informed talking therapy. I offer traditional talking therapy alongside a more creative approach for those who prefer a practical, 
interactive way of engaging in therapy.

I offer a non-judgemental space where you can bring strong emotions, overwhelming thoughts, and difficult decisions,  all within a personalised approach tailored to your specific therapeutic needs.

You can gain a deeper understanding of you're own thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. 
You can also learn to take ownership of your life and make choices that align with your values.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) 
integrates elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with mindfulness practices, to help individuals manage symptoms and reduce the risk of relapse in 
depression and other mental health conditions.

The practices help individuals develop greater 
awareness of their thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations in the present moment, and supports to 
respond with clarity and skill.

The approach blends the cognitive techniques of CBT, which focus on identifying and challenging negative thought patterns, with mindfulness practices such as meditation, body scans, and mindful movement. 

MBCT is particularly effective in helping people who have experienced recurrent depression to prevent 
future episodes. 

 

Clinical Supervision

I work integratively based in a person centred 
approach. Using a collaborative approach with supervisee's. I work using the 7 eyed model & cyclical model. 

Our work together will begin by exploring your hopes, expectations, and what you need from me as your 
supervisor, as well as the personal & professional growth and development goals you wish to work toward.

I work reflectively, drawing on creative inquiry and ongoing learning through my supervision process.

My aim is to work towards a relationship that offers the space to bring vulnerabilities, honest practice and learning to enable development for both you and me.

This ensures you continue to grow in confidence in your personal development and professional judgement as a therapist.

Sound Therapy

I offer sound therapy as an additional therapeutic option. Having attended sound therapy sessions myself over the past 15 years and experienced their benefits firsthand, I was inspired to train and provide these sessions to others.

Receiving a sound therapy session 1:1 or in a group setting can be extremely therapeutic and contribute to self awareness, relaxation and self healing. 

Sound-provides a bridge between our bodies, the world we live in and our spiritual selves.

Healing-is more than a physical process. It occurs on all levels-mental, emotional and spiritual. 

Sound healing- sound has been used to improve people's well-being for thousands of years. One of the effects of sound on the body is the release of nitric oxide, which helps keep cells balanced and relaxed. 

Physically- sound can lower heart rate and blood pressure and induce a relaxed state of being. 

Emotionally-higher pitched sounds stimulate the body's systems releasing dopamine and endorphins, associated with positive mood. 

Mentally- it can soothe and create a feeling of calm.

Spiritually- this means different things to each of us. However, sound can enhance a sense of connection to self and the world we live in.
