What to expect

Ongoing therapy

I reserve a full session—typically up to an hour—for our first meeting. While everyone’s experience is unique, the first session generally follows a process:

I’ll explain how I work to ensure your information remains private and confidential.

You’ll have the opportunity to share a little about yourself and what’s currently going on for you.

We’ll discuss your hopes and what you ideally want to gain from our sessions and conversations.

If you’ve experienced therapy, or clinical supervision before, you can share what you found helpful.

You can also ask me any questions that you might have.

The first session will be very helpful in working out how we go forward from here.

Issues that might benefit from ongoing therapy
include anxiety, depression, loss, confidence and ongoing relationship problems.

If you would like to make an appointment for our first session, or if you have any questions, please contact me.

Single session therapy

This session lasts up to 90 minutes and is intended to be a single event (although if you choose to book another session you can do).

The session is longer so that you have time to tell me about the specific issue in detail so that I can gain a good understanding.

Next, we will work together to find possible next steps for you to put in place when you are ready.

The session is tailored to your particular needs but issues that might benefit from a single session
include a difficult decision that you feel stuck with.

Contact me if you would like more information or to make an appointment.

Clinical Supervision

Please contact me for a brief conversation to
discuss your needs.
